The representation shall be a set-apart subdivision of the legal entity, situated outside of the place of its location, which represents and protects the legal entity's interests.
The subsidiary shall be the legal entity's set-apart subdivision, situated outside of the place of its location and performing all its functions or a part thereof, including the functions of representation.
The representations and the subsidiaries shall not be legal entities. They shall be given the property of the legal entity, by which they have been set up, and shall operate in conformity with the provisions it has approved. The managers of the representations and the subsidiaries shall be appointed by the legal entity and shall act on the ground of its warrant.
The representations and the subsidiaries shall be named in the constituent documents of the legal person, who has set them.

- Chamber of Commerce and Industry (foreign chamber of commerce activity, unions, associations);
- State registration chamber with the ministry of justice of the Russian Federation.
- Accreditation in the state registration chamber with the ministry of justice of the Russian Federation;
- Approval of the foreign representation seal in the state registration chamber with the ministry of justice of the Russian Federation. Seal production;
- Receiving information (statistic letter) from the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations (USREO);
- Registration of foreign representation in the rating authority;
- Registration of foreign representation in the off-budget foundations;
- Opening of an account with a bank and rating authority notification.
